These terms govern your use of the Cinema Vines app (“we”, “our”, “the app”). By using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
About the Service
Cinema Vines aggregates and curates movie and entertainment news from third-party publishers. We surface headlines, summaries, and links so you can discover and read stories more easily. Cinema Vines is a discovery layer over that content, not the original publisher of it.
Content Ownership & Third-Party Sources
News articles, images, and embedded posts (including any from Twitter/X, Instagram, or Facebook) shown in the app remain the property of their original publishers or creators. We link back to and, where applicable, embed that content as-is; we do not claim ownership over third-party news content. Tapping through to read a full article takes you to the original source’s website, which has its own terms and privacy policy.
If you’re a publisher or rights holder and believe your content is being used in a way you didn’t authorize, contact us at contact@cinemavines.in and we’ll look into it promptly.
No Account Required
Cinema Vines doesn’t require sign-up or login. Your language, interests, notification preference, and saved articles are stored locally on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app’s source code, except where permitted by law.
- Scrape, mass-download, or systematically harvest content from the app.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app’s functioning, servers, or networks.
Push Notifications
If you opt in, we send push notifications about news updates. You can disable these at any time from Settings, and doing so removes your device’s notification token.
No Warranty on Content Accuracy
We aggregate news from external sources and do our best to surface accurate, timely content, but we don’t independently verify every article and can’t guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Errors or omissions originating from a source publisher are outside our control.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinema Vines and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on content accessed through it.
Availability & Changes to the App
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, including adding or removing content sources or features, without prior notice.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
