What is Cinema Vines?
Cinema Vines is an app that curates movie and entertainment news from trusted sources, summarized so you can catch up quickly and read the full story whenever you want.
Is Cinema Vines free to use?
Yes, the app is completely free.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Cinema Vines works right away, with no sign-up or login required.
Which languages are supported?
Cinema Vines currently supports Malayalam and English, with more languages planned.
How do I change my language?
Go to Settings → Language and pick the language you’d like to read in. You can change it anytime.
How do I change the topics I see?
Go to Settings → Choose Interest and like or dislike topics to fine-tune your feed.
How do I save an article to read later?
Open any article and tap the bookmark/save icon. Saved articles are stored on your device so you can read them anytime, even without an internet connection.
How do notifications work?
If you opt in, we send push notifications about news updates in your selected language. You can turn these on or off anytime from Settings → Notifications.
Where does the news come from — is it original content?
We aggregate and summarize news from third-party publishers rather than writing original articles ourselves. Tapping through to the full story takes you to the original source.
I found an error in an article — what should I do?
Since articles are sourced from third-party publishers, errors sometimes originate there. Let us know at contact@cinemavines.in and we’ll look into it.
How do I delete my data?
Cinema Vines doesn’t require an account, so there’s no personal profile stored on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device — saved articles, preferences, and language/interest settings.
